He has exhibited widely in both the UK and internationally having work included in many public and private collections.

In 2006 the Newport Museum and Art Gallery showed a major retrospective of his recent work 1990-2006 under the title 'the indistinct breath of the image'. His exhibition ‘The Horseman’ showed at Cynon Valley Museum & Gallery in 2003.

‘The conception of painting in which shapes - or performers, first emerge as an unknown adventure in an unknown space… a struggle between the categorical; distinctions between abstraction and representation and the ambition to invest in non-figurative art with transcendent content, something that would rival the elemental role of myth and ritual archaic culture. In this regard ‘unknown’ pictorial space describes a realm that somehow surpasses two dimensions while avoiding the illusive three-dimensional space of conventional representation - a space that could be experienced.’
